This will be the first meeting for the new council members. The executive positions will be voted on, meeting dates set for the school year, and future fundraising are among some of the items that will be discussed.

Tasty Tuesday/Miam Mardi is a huge fundraiser for ÉFT School Council. Last school year we were able to raise over $34,000.00, allowing us to support various programs, activities, and wonderful enhancements to our school. Beginning October 11th, students will be able to purchase lunch during first break. Slices of pizza and fruit smoothies are $2.00 each, drinks and dessert will be sold for $1.00 per item.
Exact change please! Remember to pack a snack and drink for their 2nd nutrition break.
Every year, School Council and Fundraising Committee work hard raising funds for our school, and these initiatives have a positive impact on our activities and programs. Last year, we began the year with a balance of $18,000. Fundraising activities like Tasty Tuesday, Fundscript and the Plant Sale raised an additional $46,600. School Council approved $48,200 in expenditures.

Students rave about the tasty lunches available for order on Fridays from The Lunch Lady, and parents love the convenience. Many ÉFT families take advantage of this wonderful service and have a hot lunch delivered right to their child's classroom.
In the event that buses are cancelled due to inclement weather, Tasty Tuesday and Lunch Lady Meals will also be cancelled.
Be sure to submit your ticket request and food order before Wednesday, October 5th and if you are one of the first 300 requests, your tickets will be sent home with your child by Thursday, October 6th. Click here for full movie night details. Click here for a printable flyer/order form.
If you haven't already done so, drop by and visit the new Outdoor Classroom located on the west side of the the school. You can't miss it! It's right out front. This wonderful new space allows students to learn in an Eco-Friendly environment surrounded by trees, plants, rocks and lots of fresh air! All the teachers are very eager to bring their teachings outside to this spot. The "classroom" can be used to teach any subject in any grade. EFT School Council is very proud to have had the opportunity to contribute to the creation of this wonderful new space.
