eftlc logoOne of our students came up with the idea of a Lego Club and the school was able to make it happen.

Every Thursday, students in the Lego Club spend a recess period letting their imagination run wild with creativity.  While the club has some Lego to get them started, they could always use more.  If anyone has any unused Lego they would like to donate, please drop them off at the school office.  All types of Lego are welcome.

single snowflakeMark your calendars ... Wednesday, December 7th our gym will be magically transformed into a Winter Wonderland Holiday Minishop where our students will have an opportunity to do some of their holiday shopping.

Students will be able to purchase gifts for two significant adults in their life such as mother, father, grandparent, caregiver, etc. Gifts range in price from $1 to $4 each, with a maximum of two gifts purchased per student.

We are pleased to be able to offer this giving experience to our students. Many volunteers will be needed for this event – a favourite for everyone involved.  Nothing beats the look of joy and pride on the children’s faces that day!

École Forest Trail's new Council for 2010/2011 had its first meeting on Monday, October 4th. We are happy to report that our new Council is a group of 18 very enthusiastic and dedicated parents who are ready to get to work.

We are very excited to get things started for this school year.  We look forward to working with parents, staff and students at ÉFT to make a positive impact on our children's educational experience.  We invite you to come out to our School Council meetings which are held on the second Monday of every month. It's a great way to get current information on what's going on in the school, and to actively participate in your child's world.   At our next meeting on Monday, November 14th, school administration will be discussing the results of the EQAO testing among things.

Check the School Council website for specific meeting dates.  We look forward to a wonderful school year at ÉFT.  For a complete listing of all School Council members click here
