In our ongoing effort to ensure we are communicating to the entire community, here is this month's Q & A regarding the proposed playground structure.
Q. Will the play structure take away from the green space in the school yard?
A. The School Council has identified the priority that the play structure not reduce the amount of greenspace currently available in our yard. We have asked the Board planning department to review our site and determine a location for the playground that is currently blacktop, not greenspace.
The Playground Committee plans to launch a survey this month to gather parent feedback on the proposed play structure. Please visit the website for information including an artist's conception of the design, FAQ, past Q&As from the eNewsletter, and our fundraising tally.
