School Council's Purpose

The purpose of School Council is to work with administration to help set the direction of the school to build a healthy learning environment where our students are happy and thriving.  

In our December meeting, School Council combined the various "wish lists" received from school administration, student parliament and parents, and broke them down into five categories.  Our focus for the 2011/2012 school year has been to address the five categories: Technology, Student Learning, Safety & Well-Being, Friends & Community, and "Our Backyard".  Several initiatives were put in place to achieve elements in each.
