Tasty Tuesdays Pizza Lunch Started October 12th !!

On Tuesday, October 12th Forest Trail's weekly Tasty Tuesdays program began.  Every Tuesday during first nutrition break your child is able to purchase their lunch at school.  We are pleased to announce that Panago Pizza is providing pizza for Tasty Tuesdays again this year.

** NO PREORDERING IS REQUIRED, BUT EXACT CHANGE IS APPRECIATED **

We will be offering the following items:

- Cheese pizza @ $2.00 per slice (each slice is 1/6th of a large pizza)
- Drink @ $1.00 each
- Dessert @ $1.00 each, maximum one per student (nut free ice cream or cookie)

PLEASE NOTE:

• Stations will be set up in various areas of the school.  Your child's class will be escorted to a station where they will make their choices and pay for their items.
• A volunteer will bring lunch out to children in portables.
• Your child will be responsible for making their own selections.  Please discuss with them what they are allowed to buy with their money.  Please ensure that your child understands how much money they have and which items they should purchase.
• Please send the exact amoun of money!   For example if your child would like 1 piece of pizza, a drink and dessert, please send in $4.   Making change slows the process and takes eating time away from our students.
• If students do not have money on Tasty Tuesdays they will not be able to purchase lunch.  No IOUs will be issued.
• AND FINALLY ... take a break from making a lunch on Tuesday!

Tasty Tuesdays is also ÉFTs largest fundraiser.  Last year, this program alone raised over $30,000 and those proceeds went to support wonderful educational activities and resources for our children.
